We want our customers to receive high-quality composite doors and with so many options and styles to choose from, we make the process as easy as possible for you to buy doors online. On the online door designer, we aim to give you as much information as we can on the door that will be the entrance to your home, from its composition to the energy rating, we want you to know exactly what you are buying.
Our online door designer is very easy to use. You simply start by selecting a frame style and then continue through the options until your dream door design is complete.
Firstly, you must choose what design you want for your frame. There is also the option to add side panels onto the frame if you want to add any small windows surrounding the door. This could be to the left, right, or above the door.
Next, choosing the door style is arguably one of the most important steps. We have 4 different ranges of styles to choose from: Traditional, Contemporary, Cottage and Flush Grained. These options offer a variety of choices for homeowners, whether you want to add a modern-look to your property or are renovating a traditional one.
There are lots of different window designs for you to choose from at this step also. From how many windows are on your door, to the placement and size of them.
Another particularly important step is choosing the colour. There is the option to choose different colours for the internal and external part of the door so you can match it to complement your property’s interior and exterior features.
We offer a variety of colours to suit everyone’s tastes, from classic black to high gloss red, there is a colour for everyone’s home.
When choosing the external frame colour, you will want to pick one that complements the door itself as well as the exterior walls of your home.
You can choose a frame that matches the colour of your door design or opt for a contrast frame. Many homeowners choose to match their door frame to the colour of their window frames, opting for white or grey.
If you have opted for side panels in your frame style, this is the step where you would choose the placement of glass or whether you would prefer to have a solid panel instead. There are many different arrangements to choose from and suit to your individual tastes.
In this step, you will choose the design of your external glass and side panels (if you chose to have any). There are multiple decorative glass options available in a range of styles and colours as well as obscured glass designs to choose from. Opting for a patterned or design finish can help to create additional privacy in your home, whilst letting natural light into your hallway.
The Hardware Suite is the place that you can choose all the finishing touches for your door and what colour you would like them to be. There are multiple door handle styles and colours to choose from, as well as letterplates, spyholes, knockers, security chains and door numbers. You can also decide whether you want your composite door to open to the left or to the right in this step.
In this final step, you can upload an image of your home and place your designed door on to it. This can help you to decide if the design and colour is what you are looking for, whether it suits the property or whether there is anything you would like to change or add.
At every stage of the process, you can view your door as you design it to see if it is developing into your perfect design. The price always updates, and a cumulative total is displayed regarding your choices. There are no hidden costs added on to the final total price that is shown on the screen, and this price includes all fixtures, fittings, sealants, and trims. It also includes the removal of your existing door set and its disposal.
